It is ok but not really nice hotel

It was a great hotel. It is close to Shinagawa station, clean, and great staff. Only problem was it was all uphill to get there and was kind of hard to get there with big luggages.

Classic discount hotel mostly filled with locals who were doing something in Tokyo and not making it home on a Friday night. There is English here and English speaking staff but this is a JAPANESE hotel and if you're not ok with things like Japanese-labeled switches in the room (they're for the bathroom fan) or unclear buffet procedures, maybe stay at a Marriott. If you're OK with actually looking at how other people are doing things and not insisting that it be just like a Days Inn in Akron, you'll be able to appreciate the clean but tiny rooms, the very solid breakfast (don't miss the curry by the rice), the 15 minute walk to Shinagawa station, and the sub $100 a night bill!
For the price, this was aces.
