Camille and her staff went overboard to accommodate all guests and their personal and dietary needs. Dinner was 5-Star as far as cruise ship dinners go. The ship could use some updating but the experience and excursions were well worth the money.

Had a great stay with impressive attention to detail throughout. The room was beautiful with an amazing view, making it a truly relaxing experience. The staff were very attentive, especially when it came to my dietary requirements, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Everything about this Ambassador cruise was outstanding. The cabin was spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. The crew were wonderful -friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. Every meal was delicious and the live entertainment was outstanding. I'd highly recommend Ambassador Cruises to anyone looking for a great overnight Halong Bay experience.

Our cruise through Ha Long Bay was a memorable and largely wonderful experience, made especially special by the incredible staff onboard. Hien and the manager, Bell, truly stood out—they were warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt comfortable and cared for. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire trip.
I also appreciated the cruise’s efforts toward environmental sustainability, particularly the use of refillable glass water bottles. It’s a thoughtful and impactful step in reducing waste, and one that didn’t go unnoticed.
That said, there’s still room for improvement. I was surprised and honestly disheartened by how much garbage is visible in Ha Long Bay itself. Given that reality, it feels even more important for cruise operators to lead by example. Eliminating single-use plastics entirely—such as the plastic-wrapped slippers provided in cabins—would be a meaningful step forward. These items seem unnecessary and out of alignment with the otherwise positive sustainability efforts.
Overall, this was a beautiful and relaxing experience, enhanced by outstanding service. With a stronger commitment to minimizing plastic waste, the cruise could truly set a standard for environmentally responsible tourism in such a stunning natural setting.
