Very nice front desk. The room was very small but adequate, clean and quiet and a great value! . We had a problem and they kindly help us to resolve. We found a lovely beach a short drive away.

I stayed in reims the night before staying hete at a budged ibis hotel and it was far far superior to the f1 in Coquelles calais.
The f1 hotel in Coquelles is in need of some updating,it serves a purpose and thats about it,I arrived 2 hours after check in time to find my room was still in an unmade condition. Even after I was allowed in ,the floor hadn't been vacuumed, there was dust and bits everywhere.
I slept OK,the breakfast was a disappointment too,nothing special to write home about,this after all a cheap place to doss down if thats all your after,but it could be better,a lot better than it was.
The local area has shops and a few restaurants, supermarkets etc,I'm always disappointed the further you are away from Central France and nearer to Paris,its always been the same I think the northern French are just that way inclined.
