The room had a great view, was small but comfortable, and the bathroom had been updated. Evening meal, breakfast staff were friendly and polite. The car park had limited spaces. As other guests have mentioned, the stairs to the rooms are steep and numerous

As a last minute booking I was pleasantly surprised. On arrival the staff were polite and helpful. Checking in was quick and although I had a small single room it was clean and cosy with a kettle tea and coffee. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent and served with a smile. There is limited parking at the hotel but ample street parking. I will happily stay there again *****
