Tau House

My stay at Tau House in Guatapé, Colombia was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Santiago, the General Manager, and his incredible team made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. What truly sets Tau House apart is the personalized service. On your very first morning, when you walk downstairs for breakfast, the staff greets you by name. It’s a small detail, but it speaks volumes about the level of attention and hospitality they provide. The property itself is breathtaking. Nestled in a private and peaceful setting, Tau House offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed to help guests relax and reconnect with nature. The food was outstanding, and the spa services were equally impressive. Whether you’re enjoying a meal overlooking the water or unwinding with a massage, every experience feels first-class. The staff also goes above and beyond to help arrange excursions, transportation, airport pickups and drop-offs, making your stay completely stress-free. If you’re looking for a quiet, serene getaway with your significant other or a small family retreat, look no further. Tau House delivers luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality in a way that is hard to find. Long after your trip ends, you’ll still be dreaming about the views, the service, and the unforgettable experience at Tau House.

Tau House is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for warm and relaxing vacation. My husband and I had an amazing time here. We spent 5 days, and we wished we could've extended our stay. This is the first vacation where we truly felt relaxed and rejuvenated. The decor of Tau House is warm and inviting. The color scheme aids in providing a relaxing environment. Our bedroom was so clean and spacious. I love that the king size bed is actually a king size bed and not two beds pushed together. The closet area of the clothes is more than enough to hang everything up. The special touch of providing robes and slippers really made me fall in love with this place from the start. The food is exceptional! We opted to have most of our meals here because they were that good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and they offered a healthy menu that allowed for my husband and I to stay on track. All the meals are balanced between carbs, fats and proteins. We ate dinner here most nights, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a quiet evening and then go to our room. The staff is absolutely amazing. They were beyond welcoming and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly. They offered us so many different things to do around Medellin and Guatape. We cannot wait to come back!
