Cape Arundel Inn - Club House

Nice room, friendly staff, views from the dining room beautiful. Pool area nice, and happy hour great!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Al is awesome! The room and Inn was the fourth one on our 8 day road trip and by far the best!

The place was awesome, I loved the bikes they provide to ride around the coast/town. The only downsides I can think of are we thought we booked the coast/oceanfront part of the property, but we ended up in the Clubhouse, a little further back away from the coast. It was great, but I just wished we know that beforehand. And I have to say, the Ocean restaurant's food was mediocre at best.

When I booked the room some months back I guess I didn't realize it was about a mile or so outside of the main shopping/tourist area so when we got into town and the GPS said to keep driving we were a bit disappointed. However once at the hotel we were glad we were out of all the tourist traffic and in a quiter area. The young lady who checked us in (I believe her name was Nia) was very welcoming and once we got into our room we were really happy to have an awesome view of the water and the very nearby Walker compound where we actually saw the former president George W. Bush and family pull out of after the wedding of their daughter. One caveat is that the hotel is older and we could hear our upstairs neighbors conversations very clearly. I think the walls might be a bit thin. The room came with a free breakfast which was nice but I do have to say that the service in the restaurant was a bit stiff and slow.
