The hotel is on a quiet lane close to the high street in Windermere. It is run by people who are obviously very experienced in hospitality and clearly responsive to what their guests require. The staff are friendly and helpful. The property is attractive and well maintained, also with a lovely garden where guests can sit. Our room was recently decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast had varied choices which were nicely prepared and presented. There is a good sized car park and it's about 10 minutes walk from the station. A number of eating and drinking options within a few minutes walk.

Everything was fantastic. We had a warm welcome upon arrival and every morning. The breakfasts were superb every time. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. This was my second stay. I'm looking forward to a third.
