The Cantilever Hotel is also the Cantilever Distillery. The staff was wonderfully helpful and very personable. Since I didn't want to drive into International Falls for dinner on any of my three nights, I sat at the bar and ate. The food was wonderful; being a distillery, there was no wine or beer, just craft cocktails. And when I say "just" that is not in any way a putdown. Creative and delicious! I would highly recommend the Cantilever Hotel.

Likes: stylish hotel, clean spacious rooms, tasty food in bar/restaurant, rooftop hot tub area is a nice place to relax, coffee station on each floor was a treat, easy drive to Voyageurs National Park. Dislikes: dim lighting in rooms and hallways, claw-foot bathtub looks nice but was difficult to get into and out of, noise from nearby trains in early morning. Overall, the likes outweighed the dislikes, and we’d definitely consider the hotel again if in the area.

The Cantilever is a great little boutique hotel. The food in the restaurant is absolutely outstanding. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar is a fun and boisterous atmosphere and offers a selection of original and creative cocktails. The bed was perfect, and I found it very restful and quiet. I use a portable power wheelchair and I was happy with the elevator and other ADA facilities. Highly recommended!
