The hotel is charming. Employees were warm and inviting and very accommodating. We felt that the rooms were "tired", for what we paid, we found the quality of the room decor worn, stains on carpet, old furniture. Bed was comfortable, but all linens are synthetic and not very breathable. Bathroom was tired and old with small bath towels which don't dry you easily. Room was clean. We travelled with our dog, the hotel team were welcoming. But as a bit of feedback if you sell a room for pets, please add a hand shower in the bathroom, makes life so much easier. There is a garden hose outside the rooms, not ideal but available. We appreciated the mini kitchenette, basic supplies were there. Hotel does not serve breakfast which isn't great as breakfast (and coffee) options are limited which means long lines in July. TV is Roku style so be prepared to log in. We did dine one evening in the restaurant, it was OK, nothing special, it could be so much more. Hotel is in a great location and very easy to get around.

The charm of the cottages was perfect and we loved the added pup basket ready to welcome our little girl also.
