This really is a very nice resort. I have not stayed in such a well maintained landscaped accommodation and will most likely wont again unless its this resort. Stayed in the beach front room, would have been smarter to design the orientation of the room so the windows and doors are towards the beach as it doesn't really feel like its "Beach front" and just feels like the other accommodation on the property but the room is clean and spacious and could not fault it.
The price of the food is really out of touch and was one of the most expensive places to eat in our 3 week trip in Thailand. We had breakfast there on out first day and was served from what I could best describe as a "miserable" waitress. If you hate your job that much or you hate foreigners that much maybe you need to change jobs!. Unwelcomed service combined with over priced menu meant we never ate there for the remainder of our time on Lanta.
Would I stay there again, most likely but would probably stay in the accommodation further back from the beach as I didn't feel paying extra for the beach room made all the difference as it probably saved a 30 second walk to all the other further back rooms.
...Oh they really like cats here, they are many! but they are all friendly (non feral) clean cats that ad to the charm of the resort.
