Oneida Community Mansion House

I booked a "superior room" on Expedia at a slightly higher cost. The bill from Oneida CM said "standard room". I sent a message to OCM asking in what way my room is "superior", but I didn't get an answer. The "superior" room pictured on Expedia (with red curtains) does exist, but I was assigned a somewhat smaller room than it. All guest rooms in OCM have private baths (this is not made clear on Expedia) and I advise future guests to save their money and book standard rooms. Otherwise the property and rooms were exactly as expected.

Only it's isolation from other attractions, restaurants etc. is really a disadvantage. Cazenovia NY is about 30 minutes away and is a lovely village with many attractions.

We had a great stay in such a beautiful building and location. The staff could not have been better. I would definitely recommend this place.

Community is the key word! With it you've got everything. And a stay at the Oneida Community Mansion is a great time. Step back in time and still keep the all the benefits of modern day. Add to it friendly staff and absolutely beautiful grounds for a fantastic time.
