Very pleasant 1 night stay. No complaints about anything. Hope to return in summer to enjoy the garden. Very popular with the locals by the look of it. It would be my choice of place to meet friends and family if I were local. Loved the roaring real fire when we arrived on a cold wet day.

The room was fine. The proprietors of the sportsman Valley hotel , Ryan and Delta, we’re extremely friendly.
The breakfast they served was excellent

Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse.
Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar.
The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping.
Staff friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English.
I'd happily stay here again.

Wonderful place to stop, only probably was a lack of air con in a heatwave!
