This place has so much potential and seeing it wasting that potential is sad and calls for a review. First of all the staff was very kind. The receptionist can be trained more on what is offered and included in bookings. What amenities are covered etc. asking the guests to wash the cups they use downgrades this boutique hotel to a hostel experience. Some basic offerings should be included like coffee. We were not told or offered beach chairs and there was a sign that says $55 for beach chairs and umbrellas so we didn’t use it. The main and biggest issue is they did not honor what is writing on Expedia page which is late checkout. We were asked to pay $55 for a late checkout for 2 hours. Despite what is written on Expedia and Expedia confirming that hotel added that information. For $55 we had to change our plans, car rental timetable ect. the Manager needs to be called, Expedia needed to call the hotel, yet still they didn’t honor their promise of late checkout even if the room is available because they so wanted to charge that $55 left a bad taste. Which we already spent inhouse for wine and other amenities. So the money was no issue but the treatment was not nice. Jose the Supervisor tried to assist but the Manager ge asked denied everything. I hope they manage this beautiful place better in the future.
