Inn at the Sea

Our room, bathroom, appliances, etc., were all very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The microwave was a good size, and the mini-fridge was bigger than most mini-fridges, but there was no freezer section in the fridge. (There is ice available in a building next to the main building.) The TV has a lot of stations you can just watch (you don't have to cast from your phone). That was awesome since one day we were stuck inside during a thunder storm. The provided toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap) were just okay, and we're pretty sure the water was on the soft side since we questioned whether we had rinsed off all the soap on multiple occasions. The location was fantastic. One block off of the main street and just a few blocks from the Long Beach Arch entrance. Overall we're very happy with our stay. Clean, good price, great location!

The property is in a perfect location, convenient and easy access to the beach and downtown restaurants. The staff at check-in and check out were both very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I was happy that they included a broom and dustpan for the beach sand. My only detractor was that there’s no AC, which is the Oregon coast so understandable; however, the windows go right out to the walkway and there’s no tint to block everybody from looking in. The only way to stay cool in the room is to have the windows open so we wound up propping curtains with chairs to have airflow, but not have everybody staring at us. Again, overall, a great experience. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

As always, I enjoyed my stay.

We love staying here. My family has been coming to this location for over 25yrs. Always love our stay. Wish there was some more amenities but we are in center of town so it works. Only complaint I have every time…they need A/C. THE ROOMS ARE SO HOT!! But we will still be back to our favorite spot. LOL.
