Albemarle Hotel

Lovely clean room parking we had to pay £8 per day we stayed 1 night should have been 2 but had to head home 2nd morning due to personal reasons but had we stsyed our 2nd day we could move around to the back of the property for free Jonathan what a perfect host he helped with our luggage gave us all the info we needed and his phone number to contact if needed whatever the hour you don't get brekkie at this property but Wetherspoons just around corner if you want brekkie great location close to town centre and only a mile or two from Scarbourough Open air which is why we booked there are room either no en suite so check on booking a negative that the hotel couldn't help with was the noise of seagulls non stop and very loud but that s the councils fault need to curtail the breeding so I advise ear plugs oh n our room had a blind and curtains but both light coloured so in summer when mornings are bright may be dark curtains would be better friends didn't so had to use sleep mask they went and bought just a thought to change to dark curtains in all rooms but honestly worth every penny will stay again Amanda Adams

Staff very helpful, parking outside the hotel, clean bedding and sry comfortable sleep ensuite clean slightly dated decor but value for money

Cheap cheerful great location helpful staff

Jonathan went out of his way to meet/greet/help. Central location in what is still a very pleasant square with echoes of its genteel origins. The property looks like a knocked through terrace. The rooms have been freshened and made over to give a kooky feel, so every room is different. All the sanitary ware and core fittings are ancient but spotless. Basically, a good makeover of a tired interior, offering comfort and very reasonable value. We were a group of 5 pals with very different tastes but were pretty aligned on this! A good little find
