Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.

The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and local foods, the room was clean and the staff was great. The parking was excellent.

The room was spotless. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfortable. Our room had its own air conditioner as well as a ceiling fan and table fan. Our private bathroom was across the hall. Bathrobes were provided. EO French Lavender soap, bubble bath, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in the bathroom.
Caryn, the innkeeper, gave us a quick tour upon arrival. The smell of breakfast woke me up. Breakfast was served to you. It’s amazing. A keurig, electric tea kettle,tea, granola, and a few other things are available 24/7.
Parking is available behind the inn. The door locks at 9 pm and you are given a cold for access.
It was a lovely stay. I hope to return.
