Lovely small cabin. A little smaller than I expected. The tile was busted and coming apart in front of the kitchen sink and the toilet kept running unless you played around with the handle. Other than that we had a great time and it served its purpose.

We stayed with 3 children, 2 shared a bunk (ages 2&5). We had a blast and loved the bonus of free attractions. Everything we did was within a 20 minute drive. Only disappointment was we didn't see any bears but most people would probably count that as a positive!

There were a few hiccups but we did enjoy our time. There is mold above the shower and on the bathroom walls. The shower head seals are blown and leaking. The shower door doesn’t really keep water in. When we went to use the heart shaped tub on the last day we started to fill it up and there was so many floaties we decided not a safe choice. We found waffle fries on the carpet upon arrival and sticky stuff all over the porch. The cabin was so dusty it could use a good deep clean. The games and the hot tub were great for my family. It was hot and the cabin stayed nice and cool. The cabin had more dishes and things for cooking than I expected which was a plus. Dishwasher and washer and dryer worked great after we cleaned the lint trap that looked like it had never been cleaned. The management company was great and we may try another cabin next time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I reserved “Remote Rendezvous “ for my parents to stay in while I was in a larger cabin with my kids and grandkids. My parents prefer a quieter environment and, with the weather forecast of hurricane Helene, had planned to stay in and watch DVDs and relax most of the time. The description of the unit stated they had of DVD player. Upon arrival we found out it did not have a DVD player and management informed us that the owners had decided not to replace it when it broke. They stated that wasn’t a problem because they had streaming to the smart TV. However, the entire Resort area had no Internet. My family was in a cabin just around the corner and we had Internet due to the fact that the owners of our cabin had purchased their own private Internet and did not use the resort Internet. We attempted to purchase two separate DVD players to use ao they could watch movies, however, in both cases neither DVD player worked with the TVs that were provided. The cabin also smelled a little musty and necessitated the purchase of a couple air fresheners to make it a more pleasant stay. could not get the pinball machine to work and could find no way to turn off the ceiling fan in the living room, even after contacting maintenance. Other than that, the cabin was clean and functional, and all other amenities were provided. The management company was extremely responsive and helpful and very kind. I just don’t think I would reserve this particular cabin again to stay at. All cabins are privately owned so it just varies cabin to cabin. The larger cabin that my family stayed at (Smoky Mountain Views) was amazing and excellent!
