A great place from which to visit the Cathar castles and the astonishing countryside. Cool even in 40C heat and properly fitted out, we couldn’t have asked for more. Our host was most attentive and very helpful.

Comfortable, well-renovated apartment in the historic village remparts. Well-equipped kitchen but no provisions whatsoever, not even salt and pepper, and only one coffee pod for two people staying two nights. No restaurants or bars were open in the village during our stay and the one very small epicerie has very limited items - and almost no fresh fruit/vegetables - so as hikers arriving on foot, we had to bus to and from a neighbouring village for supplies. Plan to bring absolutely everything for meals with you so you can utilise the kitchen, or plan to drive further afield to eat. Otherwise, a comfortable bed and a well-equipped apartment for a short stay.
