Hotel Vistara

Solid hotel with very comfy bed and all mod cons. Breakfast buffet including espresso machine coffee on the top floor with lovely views was excellent. Secure parking for motorbike was very handy.

Cleanliness and the food.

The hotel was a little difficult to locate, and there were some delays in responding to our requests. We hope these areas can be improved for a smoother experience.

Had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Vistara. The room was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Although the space was a little cozy, it was comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The management and service were amazing, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention to the chef—the food was absolutely amazing and beautifully prepared. Every meal was a great experience. 👨‍🍳🍽️ One of the biggest highlights is the rooftop restaurant, offering a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Kathmandu, the surrounding mountains, and Swayambhunath Stupa. The view is especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset. 🌄 The location is another big advantage. It’s only around 5–8 minutes’ walk from the heart of Thamel, making it very convenient for exploring the area while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Vistara is a great place to stay, with excellent management, friendly service, delicious food, a beautiful rooftop, stunning mountain views, and a convenient location. Highly recommended! 🙌

The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. However, it could have been slightly bigger in size for a more spacious and comfortable stay.
