A perfect family vacation spot in Zanzibar! Casa Ananda is a wonderful hotel with beautifully clean, new furniture and great AC. The food at Hello Capitano was fantastic, too. Robert took excellent care of us, and the security staff made us feel completely safe at all times. We really loved that it’s an alcohol-free property, which makes it an ideal, peaceful environment for families.

The rooms are big, the staff were super helpful and always smiling which really felt warm and welcoming.
The hotel is close to the market and many restaurants by the beach
The breakfast didn’t have many variations. Including cheese, or dairy in general

Lovely room and pool. Great location and friendly staff. Robert in particular always made us feel welcome
The kite centre attached was unfortunately not the best experience. Equipment had wrong leashes resulting in me being cut by the foil. I also only booked hour lesson and came out after an hour and they tried to charge for two hours. They didn’t make me pay it in the end, but left feeling a bit deflated after that.

wifi didn’t work 99% of the time there, we spoke to hotel staff and they said there was issues with the provider.
hotel is in a very distant area from other areas so doing excursions can be hard.
