Our family of 8 had an absolutely incredible stay at the Purple House on Lake Athens. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how spacious and well-designed the home is. There was far more than enough room for all of us to spread out, relax, and enjoy our vacation comfortably. The house itself is spectacular. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, and the amenities seemed endless. We kept finding little touches and features throughout our stay that made us appreciate the property even more. It truly feels like a luxury vacation experience rather than just another VRBO.The lake views are stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our family getaway. The pool was a huge hit with our kids and quickly became one of their favorite parts of the trip. Between the lake, the pool, and all the space to enjoy together, there was never a shortage of things to do. Another thing we appreciated was how convenient local food and grocery delivery services were incredibly helpful on days when we wanted to stay at the house and enjoy the property without making a trip into town. Most importantly, our kids absolutely loved it. As parents, there’s nothing better than seeing your children make memories they’ll talk about long after the trip is over. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this property stands out as something truly special! We are already talking about making this our annual summer family vacation destination!

Clear communication about check in and amenities which made for an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place with plenty of room for everyone - love that each bedroom has its own bathroom - pool and lake access is so relaxing - kitchen is stocked with everything you need including ice maker and huge fridge- towels are amazing - beds were all comfy with extra pillows in closets - outdoor kitchen and large closet filled with life jackets and pool toys - the grandkids loved the secret room under the stairs with squish mellows we didn’t want to leave

This was a Fantastic Property…..every square foot of it! Everything you could possibly need for your trip was at this vacation home. Super, Super clean! Communication from our host was top notch. She was very prompt and accommodating in responding back to any questions. After 2 days and 3 nights, the peace and beautiful sunsets will be hard to leave. Thanks for making our Moms 74th birthday so Special. Love this place!!
