Amazing place. Responsive host, but being managed separately through a real estate company created a bit more of a lag in communications than you might get when communicating directly with a Vrbo host.

Excellent property , beautiful location.

Regret: we only booked 3 nights. 4 would have been the sweet spot. Definitely check out the Ossipee Pine Barrens and the Monolithic Boulder, two very local but quite unique places. The lake is clean, the little beach as advertised, the shed is filled with water toys: beach chairs, noodles, fishing rods, a big inflatable raft. Heaven for young kids. This is a GREAT family rental.The house was clean, comfortable and spacious as described. There were some discrepancies between the rules and procedures as stated in the Vrbo listing vs. the documents we signed through Select Real Estate (trash disposal, linens) so just go with the Vrbo listing. I didn't like the sheets (stuffy synthetic, some stains on a pillowcase with no extra cases) but this is a cottage after all, not a hotel suite. The home had more of a vibe than I am used to that the family who owns the place had just vacated so we could stay. The house was fully stocked except for dish towels and small towels. Plenty of beach and bath towels.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cool lake spot but felt it wasn't worth the money we paid for it. Didn't love that the property was managed by a third party and not direct to owner, communication felt clunky.
