Very quite and relaxing place to be at. There were towels and extra beds under the upstairs bed that was very helpful. The balcony was a little dusty but nothing bad and is acceptable given the trees close by. The nearby lake/river was not as great condition as I thought given the rough pavements around it and kinda felt unkept.

Nice house on a quiet piece of land, but the host forgot to mention that there is no river in March. I knew the Army Corps drains some lakes and rivers in Kentucky, so I specifically asked the host about the river level since my 13-year-old son loves to fish. Unfortunately, she didn’t tell me the truth. When we arrived, we found only a dried-up creek, which was a big disappointment for my son and for us. We could have rented a house for a better price and much closer to the national park, but we feel we were misled by the host.We won’t be coming back, even though the property itself is nice.
