Khalib welcomed us in person even though we could not give him an approximate time of arrival. He was welcoming and helpful with information about the city.We enjoyed our stay with him, and will book again when we return to Guelph.

It was my last four days in Ontario and I needed a peaceful place to stay before flying out west. Khalid’s place turned out to be the perfect spot. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet one. There is a small park to go for quick walks just down the street. The downstairs room itself is spacious itself, perfect for weary travelers who just want peace and quiet. All necessary requirements are available such as coffee and even milk or cream upon request. Khalid will help with many requests . The kitchen area is avail for those staying for longer periods, however should one need to use kitchen area in a pinch, Khalid will accommodate. He is friendly and approachable and wants your stay to be a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Over all we were very impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the basement suite . Khalid was an amazing communicator. The only thing we did not like is that there was no window in the main sleeping and sitting area . Just a very small window in the bathroom.
