Granaino is located on the second floor in the wing of Villa Certano that runs alongside the rooftop garden. In the 15th century, the villa was home to the famous painter Lorenzo di Pietro, known as Il Vecchietta. The attic has been renovated in a rustic Tuscan style, in keeping with ancient tradition, softened by a few elegant touches. It features a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with two single sofa beds (optional), a kitchenette, and a bathroom. In the kitchen, you’ll find a bottle of our organic Chianti wine as a gift for choosing us. The apartment’s peaceful setting and proximity to Siena make Granaino the ideal destination for a relaxing and culturally enriching vacation. You’ll have access to most of the estate and can enjoy the grounds while sipping a glass of our organic Chianti wine. You can purchase wine, olive oil, and vinsanto produced in Certano by contacting the front desk. Or you can check out the La Buca delle Fate shop near the front desk.
