The apartment is large, two large bedrooms, one sitting/dining room, large kitchen, large bathroom, entre hall, and extra hallway (where the car seat is), and there are windows everywhere. The kitchen is great and has just enough gear to make breakfast and dinners. Which brings us to the location: Set 50 meters from the best fish market we have ever seen and 75 meters from the Grand Canal, 120 meters from the Rialto Mercato waterbus stop. This location is seductive and convenient. The apartment is on second floor (ground floor, first, second). The vegetable market is just next to the fish market, and so are local cheese stores and a butcher.

Ask to host to bring a small electrical extension cord, so the both lights in the car sofa can work.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour. L’appartement est très spacieux, confortable et très beau. La cuisine est magnifique et très bien équipée. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre de Venise, avec tout accessible à pied. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis très bien dans cet appartement.

It was an excellent location! We liked being in the middle of everything we want to see and convenient to the water taxis, but it was silent at night. Very very quiet, which was nice. The place was very comfortable - we slept very well on the comfy beds. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Very clean.

Did not like the smell of the bathroom, which seemed to permeate the apartment. According to the host, we are the only people who’ve ever mentioned it. We would’ve appreciated some washcloths and a more substantial and softer cozy blanket for the bed.

Perfekte Lage gleich am Rialto Mercato (Haltestelle Vaporetoo Linie 1), Sehenswürdigkeiten alle prima erreichbar, 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Viertel San Marco. Frische Luft vom Canal Grande (und manchmal vom Fischmarkt ;), direkt vor der Tür Pasticcheria und Bäcker, Apotheke, dazu Venchi-Eisladen :). San Polo ist ein sehr altes und bezauberndes Viertel, nur wenige Minuten von der Rialto-Brücke und vom Gemüse- und Fischmarkt entfernt - man kann sich damit wunderbar selbst versorgen und in der hellen Küche am Gasherd kochen. Es gibt ein historisches großes Steinspülbecken, das wahrscheinlich schon seit mindestens 300 Jahren in Gebrauch ist - großartig fürs Urlaubs-Italiengefühl! Hohe Decken, Steinfußboden, zwei Schlafräume mit Klimaanlage, die man sich nach Bedarf einstellen kann. Supernetter Empfang von der Gastgeberin, wurden extra abgeholt. Wohnung groß, hell und sehr sauber.
