Nestled in the heart of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park, our vacation rental is situated right on the salt marshes between Morsum and Archsum. Your vacation home is only about 80 meters from the Wadden Sea.

When you stay here, nature is your neighbor. Oystercatchers waddle through the greenery; you can hear a cow mooing, and perhaps even the clatter of horses’ hooves on the asphalt of the narrow farm roads that wind through the salt marshes between the villages.

Anyone who enjoys a traditional Sylt Easter loves the island’s most unspoiled aspects. Here, Sylt is still what it has always stood for: genuine, unspoiled, beautiful—sometimes enchantingly charming, and at other times truly awe-inspiring. Sometimes the east wind pushes the tide all the way into the meadows, almost up to the railroad embankment in the distance. Then it subsides again, and suddenly the vast landscape takes on an almost picturesque tranquility.

Your vacation home, just about 80 meters from the Wadden Sea, is furnished with upholstered furniture from the Bielefeld Workshops and high-quality Sylt wood fixtures, as well as adorned with charming details such as wall murals and painted sheep by a Sylt artist. The spacious living area and the exclusive country-style kitchen on the first floor offer every conceivable comfort for up to four people. The house’s terrace, with comfortable chairs and a direct view, invites you to relax with its own beach chair and large garden.

Morsum is located in the east of the island and is considered Sylt’s rural gem. At the easternmost tip of the village, the Morsum Cliff stands imposingly with its magnificent rock formations. The town offers excellent local amenities, including a supermarket and the world-famous Ingwersen bakery; in addition, the Sylt Soap Factory provides a variety of leisure activities. Alt-Morsum is definitely worth a visit!

A visitor’s tax of between EUR 1.65 and EUR 3.30 per person is payable, depending on the season.
