Very spacious room with plenty of space to move around.
Unique rustic interiors that give the place a lot of character.
Interesting location that makes you feel like you’re living among the locals.
Homely and welcoming atmosphere.
No bidet in the toilet. For a place with such charm and attention to detail, the absence of a bidet is a big downside, especially in Japan where bidets are standard and expected.
No lift, so stairs can be inconvenient with luggage.

Good size
The rustic colour and location is a bit far from Kyoto station
