Really beautiful hotel. Not too large. Situated right on the beach. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all amenities and a lovely balcony. Can easily do all tours and activities from the hotel. Walk along the beach to other bars and restaurants. Staff were very attentive. Food and drinks at hotel high quality.

The hotel and stuff were great
Special note is Imram from the hotel stuff that supported every request we had (room for elder mom, extra beds for kids) he made sure have the best time posiable.
Such crew on board makes all the diffrence.
The pool side bar have the most great food for Dinner - could add more "light" foods during lunch time

Great location, lovely hotel, beautiful beach.
Breakfast was nice enough (but not the best I had in Sri Lanka, standards were set high at Golden Crown in Kandy!). My general observation is that when a hotel is set in a beautiful beach setting, they tend to not go the extra mile in the food/catering, while hotels lacking such a setting seem to work extra hard in the food department to make up for it.
Food was ok, not the best I had in Sri Lanka.
Lots of miggies (tiny little black insects) which made eating at the outdoor restaurant less pleasant.
