Hotel Nalanda Guest House

It was a quiet place, clutter less with warm and hospitable staff.

Every staff of the hotel was very polite. They actually offered immediate help. They were keenly and methodically practicing what they had learnt to give best satisfaction to their guests. In the hotel, I accidentally saw a notebook where these points were mentioned in details and I was pleased to find that they were effortfully implementing these. For example they gave free bottles of chilled branded drinking water. When the cord of kettle fell short to reach the table from the socket, they brought books to raise the height of kettle. All of it was done almost instantly. They are improvising and I wish them grand success in their efforts.

Fix the exhaust, provide tissue peper box, give a good kettle, clean the carpet

Nice hotel conveniently located to Nalanda Mahavira and Rajgir. What really stood out was the exceptional hotel staff. Pro. Shrikant Singh is a professor at nearby Nava Nalanda University and is a wealth of knowledge of the local area. His staff consisting of Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Mr. Satyam Kumar, and others were very kind and a joy to be with. They also helped me arrange auto and taxi services prior to arrival. I would recommend this place to other travellers looking to explore the original Nalanda Mahavira & places at Rajgir.

The location is good for a stay and convenient to get the bus to Biharsharif.

The staff doesn't clean my room and a/c was also not working properly (getting stopped frequently).The charges of food and taste were not up to the mark.I would request the hotel staff to be well aware of cleaning the room and make hygiene standards please.
