Please note: This is a fairly remote location. A vehicle is needed to access the home and surrounding areas; Uber does not operate in the area. There are no dogs allowed at this property.

This house is such a gem! It is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the large city where we live. With the openness, windows, deck, and balcony areas, you truly feel like you are a part of nature, not just surrounded by it. We enjoyed being able to steam our own lobsters, grill fresh meat and veggies from Pinkham's, and have s'mores by the bonfire at night. We took walks to the Town Landing and the library which are both closeby. We did some star gazing at night and swimming at Hendrick's Head. On some rainy days, the house provided a great hangout spot for our family- playing board games, putting together puzzles, and reading on the comfy chairs and sofa. The kitchen is so well-stocked. The bedrooms and main living room are thoughtfully decorated and curated to enhance your experience- from fun coffee table books like The Maine House to creative and useful Maine-centered cookbooks. We love this house and can't wait to come back next year!

The cottage had everything we needed and was the perfect place for our stay in Maine. We would rent this property again.
