Costa del Sol Glamping Village Fuengirola

Property was ok, although for a 2 year old site it was allready showing wear and tear. The picnic table on outside the tent was very loose, practically falling apart, and one of the steps on the ladder had loose screws and was wobbling, the swing on the ac didnt work either which meant the ac wasnt able to flow into the upstairs of the tent which made it a little uncomfortable for those sleeping upstairs. Our decking was also covered in bird droppings. Overall the facilities available were as advertised although the waterslide wasnt working on our trip, which was surprising for summer holiday season. Furthermore the barrier for the onsite parking failed to recognise my cars number plate everytime meaning I had to call reception to open it when coming back in. This was frustrating after prepaying €18/day parking. We also had to leave one day early due to family sickness and have not been offered any refund atleast for the parking.

Generally a really nice place, with highlights being: - very friendly staff and kids club (the entertainment team are great) - great pool and facilities, particularly for families but a couple of things let it down: - the restaurant food is really variable in quality and consistently expensive compared to local restaurants. Berenjenas, secreto iberico and bravas all really good, the cachopo and breakfasts are awful. - restaurant service is exceptionally slow, even when quiet. It took over an hour for us to get 2 toasties in the morning when only 3 tables were seated. - it is unexpectedly noisy at night, at least on the periphery area where we were (Hanna 36). Wouldn't recommend staying if you are a light sleeper. Overall, as someone who regularly goes to Fuengirola, I would stay here again for a family holiday but there are definitely better options available.

The accommodation was very clean as was the whole site. Beds comfortable 😀 The food in restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The pool was lovely, not too cold (we stayed the few days of October) the kids loved the slide and it provided them entertainment for ages. The kids club was great and staff do a lot of activities with the kids. Very enjoyable for them. We will absolutely be back. The only slight negatives was that when making the booking with hotels.com it stated as part of a deal that there were 2 passes for each adult for the spa but on arrival the hotel confirmed this was not included. If it shows as included i would double check this with the property directly first prior to booking so you don’t miss out. The property is also right by the motorway so there is road noise but it didn’t really bother us. We stayed 2 nights but would have been so happy coming for longer. Next time!
