this stay was magical, located in a smaller town near Sintra, Maria makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean and out of a fairytale. The surrounding nature is beautiful and you can still enjoy an evening in Lisbon with just a 30 minute drive!

Unique building, quiet area( except for local dogs barking) good parking. Wonderful outdoor space. The hosts lives there, has dogs. They are well behaved (they weren't barking) horses too! Playground, trampoline, soccer net. Beautiful little garden with a chess set. A kitchen available.
The breakfast was exceptional, she put actual love into the food.

We had an amazing stay at Quinta do Scoto in Portugal. This is a truly unique and peaceful property, perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.
Maria was an exceptional host—warm, genuine, attentive, and always happy to help. She made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
The property is beautiful, with three calm horses, two friendly dogs, and a wonderful variety of fruit trees that add to its charm. The swimming pool was spotless and very well maintained, making it a great place to unwind.
Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a good selection of fresh food, including freshly baked bread rolls, croissants, and eggs cooked to order.
If you’re looking for a tranquil, friendly, and authentic place to stay in Portugal, we highly recommend Quinta do Scoto. It was a memorable experience, and we would gladly return.
