Great, attentive service. Food was fresh, tasty and well-presented. The facilities were on the oldish side, but nonetheless well maintained and clean.

Check in and out was really simple and overall staff were polite and helpful. Food isnt cordon bleu but theres a really good selection of entirely decent food in abundance.
Its an alpine hotel so the rooms are small but that should be expected from anybody one their second ski trip or above.
The hotel is very family oriented including evening kids activities in the bar so perhaps a bit off piste for stag / hen dos or lads / girls nights out.
Otherwise its not super modern but the facilities all work. The food isnt gourmet but its all pretty good.
Its entirely true that you get what you pay for so if you want a chef, butler, butcher, baker and candlestick maker then look elsewhere. We had a great stay!

Overall the hotel was average. There were a few things that i really didnt like:
Every mug was chipped in multiple places, I didn't find one that was completely in tact.
We had 3 people in our room but only given 2 room keys. When I asked for an extra key, I was told that I had to pay €10 for it! My husband then went to ask for an extra key and the price was then €5! If you're going to charge for 3 people (2 adults and one young teen) in a room, then make it policy to give out 3 keys. Not hard.
Lastly, we had to check our itemised bill properly as drinks that we had not had, had been added to our bill.
