We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. The 2 breakfasts we enjoyed were skillfully prepared by Suzanne- flavorful blueberry cobbler, scones, scrambled eggs, fruit cup, smokey bacon, fluffy & delicious French toast++. all wonderful!! They think of everything possible for a 5-star Inn stay. PS- didn't see any ghosts... whew!

The Inn Keeper was excellent, and her homemade breakfasts were fantastic. I would highly recommend this location for couples.

Both the host (Suzanne) and the guests were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are phenomenal. We had the hot tub to ourselves, which was a nice perk. Great stay in a historic setting.
