Old coaching inn centrally located and within walking distance of all amenities
Clean and tidy but a little worn in places. Not for picky travellers but ideal for those seeking a characterful stay. Some great historic features and plenty private parking. Good value and a memorable stay.

The hotel is dated and needs an uplift. It’s a shame with it having so much character but I expect if it was it would have cost us more to stay there. Towels were nice and white. It’s a great location even though we were only staying one night as we’d driven from Devon en-route to north Wales. The only problem that could arise is the parking (£5 a day) is very limited! We arrived around 3pm to find 2 spaces which were quickly filled. We would stay there again
