Hôtel Sainte Marie

Loved it

Hotel was very clean and well stock with what you need. Beds were quite comfortable. Hotel is a it dated but not lacking of functional Very close to the sanctuary entrance and stores. Amazing view of the river. Cristina was a superb host and quite hospitable. She arrange for the storage of our luggage until it’s time for us to go and the taxi to take us to the train station. We will stay here again when we come back to Lourdes.

Considering we were on a pilgrimage in October, we weren't expecting a fancy hotel but a convenient one that met all our basic needs (shower, bed, WiFi) and was a comfortable distance from both the train station and the Sanctuary. Hotel Sainte Marie checked all the boxes! The staff were all very friendly and eager to help. The rooms we stayed in were all clean and we slept well. Our triple room had a lovely view of the town and each of our rooms had a small desk and two chairs. We didn't pay extra for breakfast so can't anything about that. I will say that the only thing we struggled with were the showers. They're not fully enclosed and so we kept getting the bathroom floor wet and then using all our towels to dry it up and kept needing more towels. The WiFi worked great and my entire group agreed that if we come back to Lourdes, we're staying at Hotel Sainte Marie!

A clean, basic and welcoming hotel, very good wi fi and shower. Everything you need for an enjoyable, restful few days. Staff are truly excellent and breakfast is delicious. Thanks to all for a really lovely stay.
