We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Sheriff Lodge. The owner accommodated our early check in, which was very kind of her.
Throughout our stay we had good conversations with the owner, who was a lively lady.
Room was nicely decorated. The bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom exceptionally clean.
Breakfasts were freshly cooked to perfection, with a wide choice.
Location was ideal for the town, albeit the walk back up the hill took us longer than the walk down :)
Most definitely we will be going back, next time we visit Matlock and the beautiful surroundings.
