Opinie

5 / 10

The guest house is near the edge of a small village a few miles from the coast. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a sun lounge area. As mentioned in other reviews, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet gives the chance to try delicious home grown and cooked local produce and, if the weather is OK, you can eat outside. In the village is a nice cafe/bar, just a few steps walk away. Comillas is a 15 minute drive away.

The posada is a beautiful old building, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Communication was a little difficult with the owners due to my limited Spanish and their limited English - but we managed! We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. It was 4km to drive to the nearest town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice of local and homemade food. We stayed here on our way back to Bilbao airport after holidaying further west. It is very rural, south of Santillana del mar.
