Hawaiian Princess at Makaha Beach

If anything, the Hawaiian Princess undersells the view by not including a picture of the basic room showing the curtains open to the balcony. Our view from the balcony every night was turtles swimming around in the bay, which made for a wonderfully romantic experience.

Great property right on the beach. No frills but that’s what we wanted-away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. Though we only used the pool and hot tub once-they were very clean. The view from our lanai was amazing and we started every day and ended every day out there. We used the BBQ grills once to cook dinner and they were a great inclusion. Overall we loved our experience-great for couples and families alike. If you are looking for a “resort” this is not for you.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our family vacation. We stayed in a corner unit with panoramic views of the beach and mountains. The view was breathtaking and one of the highlights of our trip. The condo was clean, well-maintained, and very practical. Having a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a detachable handheld shower head was especially convenient when traveling with small children. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the beach was beautiful. On our last night, we even saw sea turtles swimming right near the shore, which was an unforgettable experience. A few things could be improved. We were unable to communicate with the property through Expedia before arrival and never received check-in instructions. Fortunately, we speak English and have a U.S. phone number, so we were able to contact security for assistance. This could be difficult for international travelers. We were also informed about additional fees at check-out that were not disclosed in the Expedia listing, which was disappointing. Finally, the washer was extremely noisy and sounded like an airplane taking off. Despite these issues, our overall experience was fantastic. The location, views, comfort, and beach were outstanding. We would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Excellent location right on the beach. Clean space, easy access, close to stores, restaurants and 24h pharmacy. Highly recommended and will be visiting again!
