We were looking for a place to stay while in town for a concert. Rooster's Nest was everything we could have asked for. It was super clean, private, and had all.the amenities you could think of.

Great place to stay. Close enough to town but still far enough away from the hustle and bustle to sit quietly on the deck enjoying the outdoors. Deer come very close to the property.
The host, Cody was very friendly and helpful telling us places to go. He was very responsive to our phone calls.

It was okay. Very clean! A few little things, but nothing horrible. There was no coffee for the next morning. And the coffee maker was a kerig. So we had to go to town and buy us a box of coffee in kerig cups. The ice maker ice was all froze together and wouldn't dispense any ice because it was in one big ball of ice. There was just a little hand soap in the dispenser in the bathroom. We didn't bring soaps or shampoos thinking they had complimentary small bottles. It was very dark in the cabin. Had to have lights on at all times and window blinds up. The floors were all uneven and slanted. Which kind of bothered us because we are older and have some problems walking. The day we were packing to leave, the bathroom smelt of sewer and the toilet would not fill up the tank with water. We had to add water to the back of the toilet tank to get it to flush properly. There was also some type of construction going on nearby. We sat outside on the deck alot but there was always that noise going on and the neighbors dog was constantly barking. It was very clean and could be a nice private area if that's what you're looking for. The host Cody was very helpful with suggestions on what to check out and places to eat in town. We did enjoy our stay, just had a few miner issues that we adjusted to.
