Elisso Hotel

Great staff, location and breakfast

Nothing

Great location

Location good. Swimming pool very good.

Nothing. It was modern and clean.

On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and the seaside promenade. The breakfast was good, and the bed itself was very comfortable. Unfortunately, because the room was unbearably hot, we weren't able to enjoy a good night's sleep.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room had red ants, and the only solution offered was a can of insect spray for us to use ourselves. That didn't do much. The air conditioning was not working, and despite reporting it to the reception at least 3 times and having staff come to inspect it on three separate occasions, nothing was fixed. The reception area was cool and comfortable, but we were repeatedly told that the AC issue affected the entire hotel. With nighttime temperatures above 30°C and no mosquito screens on the doors or windows, we couldn't even leave them open without letting mosquitoes in, making it almost impossible to sleep. The room also had dust in several areas, which made it feel poorly maintained.
