We were checked in at 5pm - during the onsite checkin window of 4-6pm. There were instructions on what to do if you areived after. Front desk that checked us in was very helpful. Communication with host before was very good. Our unit had a lot of steps to get up to the unit. Other than that, unit was clean and ready for us. We were there for JMU graduation so was a little further out of town but was nice to have place with space vs a hotel room. Saw lots of wildlife on the property and grounds. The Thunderbird café down on RT33 was very good for breakfast one day. The other day we did the on-site restaurant near the golf course. The only option was was a buffet breakfast. It was good but if you only wanted a small breakfast, havng that option would have been good. Note - checkout is 10am - we made it work but was a hustle. Overall, I recommend the property as an option if you are in the Harrisonburg area. We had a really nice stay.

Everything was in good condition and working order. The lodging was clean and organized. We did find one towel the cleaning crew missed on the back of the downstairs bathroom door, but it certainly a big deal.

The place was very spacious for a family of 6. It came with paper products tissues, paper towels, soap, paper cups trash bags etc... the unit needs a good dusting of wall and ceiling. There was spider webs in ceiling and dust web on the walls. Also the deck was covered in spider webs and very dirty. The late check in process needs to explained better. Also 10am check out is way too early.

Great house. The neighborhood deer were a special touch. We loved the high ceiling in the living room, large and comfortable beds, and in-home jacuzzi and sauna. The kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!
