The cottage (house) is beautiful and the surroundings gorgeous. Spacious and very clean. Host was very responsive and very very pleasant. If you want to relax and enjoy the view you can and/or use as a home base to explore spots like Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Halifax. It was perfect.

This cottage was one of the most thoughtfully appointed properties I have had the privilege of staying. Beth thought of many comforts to ensure our stay was seamless. She left multiple personal touches that showed her attention to our stay which made us feel special. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are excellent. All of this is outshone by the fantastic location both in proximity but also the ocean views. We look forward to returning!

What a wonderful stay we had in this lovely cozy cottage! We stayed from June 20 to June 24 and enjoyed every moment! It was spotless clean with absolutely everything you could need for a home away from home! All the sites we wanted to see were within a one hour drive with Peggy’s Cove just minutes down the road! Fabulous host added her own special touches and recommendations which we used and enjoyed! We would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return! Oh and the views were gorgeous along with a mama deer and her fawn visiting us each morning…. I could go on and on!!!

We stayed 6 days in the cottage in late May. There is a beautiful view of Margaret’s Bay with gorgeous sunsets. It is fully equipped with anything one may need with attention to detail. The cottage is centrally located to explore the beautiful south shore beaches of Nova Scotia and is still in close proximity to Halifax and the airport. Our only complaint was the very small bedroom with no place to store or hang one’s belongings or clothing. The VRBO website shows a small “second bedroom” with a dresser for clothes. The room was apparently remodeled after the posted photo to add a closet with a washer, dryer, heat pump, and a water filtration system which emits an alarmingly loud noise at 2AM on a biweekly basis. Still the cottage is a little jewel and would be great for guests looking for one very nice bedroom.
