This is a must visit for everyone. The host, forgive me for my spelling, Clodagh is the most amazing woman. She shared her cheerful self with us and we couldn't help but fall in love with the place. It has a gorgeous ambiance, stunning views, and the breakfast is excellent. Please book this for yourself!

Our stay at Barrow Lodge was perfect, we loved the room, the breakfast, the view of the harbor and mountains, the beach, and most of all the proprietor, who was so kind and friendly.

My husband and I did a 10 day trip across the entire island of Ireland, and our stop at Barrow Lodge was a major highlight! The location was serene, the view was incredible, it was the most comfortable bed and best shower of any of the other hotels, and the breakfast was beyond words! Claudia was a phenomenal host, we felt so welcome and wish we could have stayed longer! I am hoping we can return again soon.
