Buffet breakfast was good and good choice

I think the staff were excellent and nothing negative to say

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were always attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The complementary glass of fizz was most welcome as was the 2 hour happy hour at the roof top bar. The location was perfect too. Close to the centre but down a quiet side street so no problems with noise. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at San Karlu and truly appreciated the warm hospitality! The team made our anniversary even more special by preparing a lovely surprise in our room, along with two glasses of Prosecco. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful way to start our stay. A special thank you to Ellen at reception, who was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. She took the time to recommend places to visit and gave us great tips for exploring Malta. The entire staff was attentive, friendly and professional throughout our stay. The breakfast service was excellent, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. We also loved the pool and pool bar area, everything was beautifully maintained, clean and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Thank you to the whole San Karlu team for making our stay so memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta!

Our room had very little natural light, think that room should be on a discount. Felt very expensive for not having much natural light
