This is a shepherds hut and, though small, has everything you need for a break. Very cosy and an experience. A gas barbecue is just outside the property with a table and chairs. Inside there's an oven and a separate plug in hob (which works really well). Very clean when we arrived and the hosts were extremely friendly and available if needed. You will need a certain level of mobility due to the stairs to the front door and the steps up to the bed. This is a working farm with several long walks (one around Farmoor Reservoir), so perfect if you like walking or hiking. Highly recommended and hope visit again.

I can't really think of anything - as above, this is an experience so we weren't looking for faults. I would say that if you're very tall the bed might be a challenge (but I suppose that's the same everywhere).

Lovely location and owners. The hut was perfect and well thought out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Willowdale and will return again.

Not a critique of the property, it was a very hot weekend and that was a challenge with the heat retention in the shepherd’s hut. As it was a secure site we left windows and doors open for air flow which dealt with the heat.
