The property was as advertised. There were so many amenities included with the property for cooking, games, puzzles, pool, toys, beach items, etc. it is very close to the beach access. It’s a short walk or if you have a lot of stuff to take to the beach a short golf cart ride. I really can’t rave enough about this property. I am definitely going to book again for next year. Lastly, the host was amazing to communicate with and very prompt with responses.

We had a good stay. Things We Loved: The layout of the house/number of rooms and bathrooms. The private pool and distance to the beach (very close!). You can see a little of the ocean from the front porch and get the ocean breezes. Pet friendly. Things to Improve: Cleanliness. The floors need a very thorough mopping, cabinets and baseboards need to be wiped down. Given the price, we had hoped for a cleaner house overall. The bathrooms were decently clean. It is also important to note that the house is next to a busy intersection with a lot of traffic. It can be a little noisy during the day when the traffic picks up but was generally quiet at night.

Our getaway over the longer Easter weekend to Oak Island and Chick Inn of the Sea was absolutely wonderful. The location of the house is perfect. We were on the beach everyday and the little convenient store right across the street was nice. We used the golf cart a lot to get everywhere. The house was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was clean. The kids enjoyed laying out by the pool and loved having their own bedrooms. The storage room downstairs has everything you need for a proper beach day and even bikes to ride. Most relaxing vacation ever. We felt like we were "home" but at the beach. We will definitely be back!!
