Getting Around:

Merced is centrally located on Highway 99 between Modesto (40 miles north) and Fresno (55 miles south). Highway 140 runs west toward Yosemite National Park, about 80 miles from the home. Mariposa is 45 minutes west via Highway 140. Bass Lake is approximately 60 miles east. Merced Regional Airport is 15 minutes away for smaller flights, while Fresno Yosemite International Airport is about 1 hour south for major carriers.
