Be prepared for the dogs

Cleanliness

The dogs being the other side of a child gate as you enter. And then the owner and dogs came upstairs around 9pm. He and they slept next door. I opened my door to see what the noise was and there was one of his dogs on the landing ! I was not expecting that !! Then around 5am the same noise going downstairs. I messaged him and he apologised but he was going to work. And the mini fridge in the room is noisy.

Very nice.

No complaints.

Can't be helped but it's about a 15 minute walk from station.

Perfect solo stop. Loved it.

I was in Devon for a training weekend and so Aller Park was ideal for my needs. A quiet spot, a comfy bed, a desk, fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery, mug, glass and even fresh milk and a bottle of filtered water. There was a lovely warm and homely feel to the room and I found it to be a very peaceful and restful place to be. Parking and access was easy and Jonathan was the best of hosts. Really great value for money too.

There is nothing really to complain about for me. I see someone else has mentioned the dogs but I felt there was fair warning of them in the property description and although they make their presence known on arrival, they are unable to reach you and are quiet the rest of the time. If you have a particular fear of big dogs then it's probably not ideal but they were no bother to me.
